2018 Oregon Music Hall of Fame inductee, Monti Amundson, best known as Big Monti, is bringing his signature blues-rock sound to the Waterfront Blues Festival this year, taking time off from his busy schedule in Nashville, Tennessee, where he’s been living for the past two and a half years. Longtime Oregon band-mates, Cory Burden, drums/vocals, and Allen Hunter, bass/vocals, complete this celebrated Northwest power trio line-up.

Big Monti is a natural-born blues rocker with a style all his own, and when he takes the stage, it’s clear that there’s more going on than the usual extended guitar solos. The man plays and sings larger than life. Blues is what Big Monti does. It comes straight from the heart and is as real as it gets.
